…Really? The mothers of these demigods can be murdered over, and over, and OVER AGAIN, but the people who are supposed to protect them can’t actually kill people themselves?

When you are fighting against a crest of religious belief in good and evil, killing people is feeding the flame since it cements your evil status.
After killing pregnant women for over a THOUSAND years, I don’t think anyone could really care WHAT these sociopaths think!
But the mother can kill, why, is it because she carries god’s child? Perhaps the blood of a (demi)god washes away sin?
Kind of hypocritical don’t you think. Especially when this god did a lot of the killing himself and set the rules the way he did.
In any case it obliterates any valid argument in favour of absolute morality.
It’s about personal choice. It’s not that they can’t kill, it’s that they choose not to. And who says they aren’t going to train her to be all non-killy with the next assassin.
Might have something to do with all the promotional art of Maggie toting machine guns and ammo belts and whatnot.

Keep up the great work but I’ve seen some of it via Patreon. It is good.
Now see there’s your logic gap right there. Cauterization is not killing but unless X lil quadripilized stumpies gets in biting distance, that threat is permanently neutralized. Lobotomies work very well too.
