“Maggie Maggie wake up It’s me”
Is that… Grace? Hooray she’s alive! Or maybe it’s someone else… I’m going to take the risk of being uterly crushed if it isn’t her in the next page and start cherring right now. Yay!
Stubborn…? Well Maggie may listen after being shot at… and having no family to go back too..
But why all the trailers and camouflage Is the Church really that powerful to use Helicopters or Drones? or Is the government after them about something else?
Also, out in the middle of a desert, greenery ain’t that great for camouflage. I bet from the other angle they’re next to an oasis they’re blending into.
That or the local Army Surplus was out of brown camo nettting, so they settled for what was on sale…
I believe the photo reference for this page was Joshua Tree National Park. An image search would reveal that the desert is not all sand colored. At the bases of these immense beautiful rock formations there are often times contrasting green clusters of desert foliage. This seems more visually appealing to me than a bland cover of desert camo netting obscuring the character of this impromptu desert hide away.
I live in the Palm Springs area, so have been really digging the way the local scenery is portrayed. Yes, Joshua tree is exactly like that, although you would see the Joshua Trees in the flat area out in the distance. Some of them can be over 20 feet tall. I would highly recommend visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Great rock climbing, even if all you do is the scrambling portion, and not the vertical climbs where ropes are needed for safety…. The Joshua trees stretching out in the distance look so unearthly, it always make it seem like an alien landscape to me, like something you might see from John Carter on Mars.
I live out in the lower desert as well and was happy to see something taking place around here. There is a lot mor egreeen than people realize. I love this comic. When is Kurt going to die?
An intriguing discussion may be valued at comment. I do believe you should write on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally persons are not enough to communicate on such topics. Yet another. Cheers

Nice work, again. Needs more camouflage or hiding spots. I get the idea of a bunch of bikers camping though. Really like the lookout up on the hill.
Can’t wait for next week.

“more green”
stupid phone.
Thanks y’all; I stand corrected. I haven’t been to desert country since I was a kid, and that is way too long, obviously…
Great excerpt from the book. What edition is this?
Once more, nice work. needs more cover or places to hide. But I can see how a group of bikers might camp. I really like the hilltop lookout.
Your amazing skill is clear in this post; thank you for your amazing effort.
